Regenerative Medicine

What is Regenerative Medicine?
Regenerative medicine refers to the use of the body’s innate healing capacity (specifically the stem-cells) to repair injury and regenerate tissues.

Two forms of regenerative medicine are prolotherapy and Vet-Stem regenerative cell therapy.

Stem cells are able to differentiate into tendon, ligament, bone, cartilage, cardiac, nerve, muscle, blood vessels, fat, and liver tissue, and thus repair injuries and chronic degenerative conditions. Stem cells are present in all tissues in small numbers, and are most easily obtained and isolated from fat (adipose) tissue.
